Accelerating deep-tech startups learning curve!

Scale-up Champions has launched a call for deep-tech startups to join its Investment Readiness programme. Among other activities, this initiative comprises a customised journey of personalised mentoring and coaching for three to six months. Imparted by mentors from all over Europe, the programme helps entrepreneurs to develop their financial skills and the investment readiness of their projects. Moreover, it accelerates their learning curve, compressing the experience that entrepreneurs would normally get over several months, even years, into a maximum of six months.
Applications are open until 13 September for startups working in deep-tech that want to accelerate their growth. First of all, applicants will undergo a challenge-based selection process through which the Scale-up Champions consortium will identify the best startups. The chosen ones will then be matched and provided mentoring sessions during a period ranging from three to six months, followed by a series of workshops and meetings with experts. Once the startups are prepared to raise investment, they will be brought together with investors, business angels and venture capitalists to pitch their ideas.
Some of the big names in the international deep-tech scene will participate in the mentoring programme, which will be entirely developed online, and accompany the participating startups in their journey. During it, the entrepreneurs will develop their financial and pitching skills and unlock their full fundraising potential. Moreover, the participants will be able to rehearse their pitches with the mentors before doing them live in front of top investors, business angels and venture capitalists. The programme will also provide entrepreneurs with the chance to work with corporates, discuss partnership opportunities and expand their market reach.
