2017-02-20

itti_lokator PPNT PoznanITTI, an IT company and PSTP tenant, has recently launched two interesting, international projects. One of them is aimed to support telescope navigation and control, while the other helps to prevent the flooding of the Danube.

The NOAS – NEO&SST Observation Assistant Service project is conducted for The European Space Agency (ESA) and its goal is to support authoring, validation and scheduling tasks for astronomical telescopes of any type. The objective of the project is to develop the Internet service based on the universal data format. The project started in February 2017.

Another international action in which ITTI specialists are involved is the DAREnet – DAnube river region Resilience Exchange network. It is supposed to harmonise the actions taken by the organisations from the Danube river region which aim to minimise the risk of flooding. The work is financed by the European Union within the framework of the Horizon 2020 programme.
