40TH IASP WORLD CONFERENCE BEHIND US!

AFTER 4 DAYS OF INSPIRING MEETINGS AND A PRESENTATION BY EBBA LUND-PRESIDENT OF IASP, THE 40TH WORLD CONFERENCE OF IASP, THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF SCIENCE PARKS AND INNOVATION AREAS, HAS ENDED IN LUXEMBOURG. PPNT WAS REPRESENTED AT THE EVENT BY JUSTYNA ADAMSKA, PHD, DEPUTY DIRECTOR.

The event provided not only invaluable knowledge, but also extraordinary networking opportunities and knowledge exchange. The importance of relationships and the creation of an ecosystem based on trust was emphasized, which fosters openness, creativity, idea generation and, above all, cooperation and innovation.

The role of hydrogen as a fuel of the future was also touched upon, emphasizing the large impact of greenhouse gases on our planet and the need for immediate change. Mateusz Kowacki of the Krakow Technology Park presented the importance of hydrogen in the Malopolska region (Poland), emphasizing its role as a “small but important” element in their plans.

Other session topics included talent attraction, sustainable transportation, health, accelerator programs and educational programs for the youngest.

Dr. Justyna Adamska also had the opportunity to visit the remarkable Belval Science Center and Goodyear’s innovation center, where innovators are working to completely replace petroleum-based oils in their tires.

The conference was a remarkable journey that confirmed the power of collaboration, innovation and our collective ability to shape a better future.
