Three new projects from Horizon 2020

2019-08-06

Great news from Brussels! We will be the coordinator of three new projects within the prestigious Horizon 2020 programme.

The first, largest project is on supporting “deep tech digital startups” in the international markets, establishing cooperation with big companies and, as a consequence, scaling up their activities. It assumes two support paths – for startups themselves (training, softlanding programs) and for ecosystem stakeholders (exchange of experience between stakeholders, training, development of a common value chain for startups within a consortium). In the project consortium, apart from PPNT, there are also Estonian Tehnopol – a technology park from Tallinn, the Lithuanian Science and Technology Park in Kaunas, DTU Skylab from Copenhagen (our partner in EU-XCEL and Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs) and Technova Barcelona. All our partners, like PPNT, are the members of IASP or / and EBN networks.
The project will last 24 months, its launch is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2019 or the first quarter of 2020, and the budget for all activities is nearly EUR 1.5 million.

The second project is the exchange of experience and knowledge in the field of communication and marketing activities with foreign innovation centers from Tallinn, Kaunas and Malaga. As a result, we will design new tools to support our tenants and reach more potential clients.

The third project called Create4value project is to adapt significantly improved methodology of co-creation to the needs of “first time innovators” from the Wielkopolska region, based on testing the intrinsic and extrinsic approaches to engaging endusers and stakeholders in the process. The real challenge that PSTP and other innovation agencies face is to mobilise noninnovative companies, that have never benefited from any support in innovation implementation, despite their potential.
