Scale-up Champions has opened a new call to join its Investment Readiness Programme, an initiative seeking to boost the deep-tech tech startup ecosystem by connecting startups with mentors, investors and corporates across Europe. Applications are open until 13 September for startups working in deep-tech that want to accelerate their growth, as well as for investors, business angels, venture capitalists and mentors that would like to broaden their connections and market insights.

This is the third and last edition of the programme, which has already built a network of global changemakers, including over 100 top-notch investors, venture capitalists and business angels. Some of the most renowned investment entities already engaged in the programme, just to mention a few, are Adara Ventures, Axcend Health, Bridgio Tech Accelarator, byFounders, EdTech Hub Ventures, Funding Box , GoHub, Gold Ventures Investment, Icos Capital, Inovo Venture Partners, LT Capital, Nekko Capital, SATUS STARTER Fund, Scale Capital, Shape VC, Smok Ventures, SpeedUp Venture Capital Group, Sunfish Partners, Tera Ventures, 4 Founders Capital, All Iron Ventures, Speedinvest. These investors come from all over Europe, but mostly from these five growing deep tech startup ecosystems: Denmark, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland and Spain.

The startups participating will enjoy a series of personalised mentoring sessions, training activities and individual meetings with experts to increase their fundraising capacity. In addition, there will be several workshops and networking events to connect entrepreneurs, corporates, mentors and investors from all over Europe, such as the Investment Readiness Demo Day. This event, celebrated towards the end of the programme, encompasses a pitching contest where the participating startups pitch their projects live in front of investors. Moreover, it also includes a set of panels and workshops with experts and a virtual matchmaking session during which the startups and investors have the chance to meet one-on-one, increasing and accelerating the deal flow.

The investors, venture capitalists and business angels participating in the Investment Readiness Programme will stay ahead of the curve by being the first ones to discover pre-selected disruptive startups. They will also save time and resources by screening startups from different countries and various deep-tech fields at a glance, as well as learn about the latest market and innovation trends. And last, but not least, they will be able to network with like-minded investors with whom they can discuss investment opportunities.
