INNO-MOB IS A NEW PPNT PROJECT UNDER HORIZON EUROPE
2022-07-27AT THE BEGINNING OF 2023, THE PROJECT “UNLOCKING THE POTENTIAL OF MOBILITY INNOVATION ECOSYSTEMS AND NETWORKS” (INNO-MOB), WHICH IS IMPLEMENTED BY THE POZNAN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PARK UNDER HORIZON EUROPE, WILL START.
The Horizon Europe Framework Program is the largest research and innovation program in the history of the Union. Working together with most new partners in the EU, the INNO-MOB project will focus on the opportunities offered by networks to innovative and dynamic enterprises through an innovation ecosystem to enhance cooperation in the transport and mobility sectors.
The emerging market for sustainable mobility will explore the opportunities offered and develop mechanisms that support companies’ deployment potential to quickly bring innovation to the market. The project partners recognized a common problem in the transport sector, which is a rigid value chain. This situation is hampering the development of innovations developed by smaller companies and prevents them from being implemented in new transport vehicles and products. The circumstances created make it difficult for SMEs to come into contact with larger producers who are concentrated on short-term supply contracts with specific and large suppliers. The INNO-MOB project will reduce the innovation gap between strong and moderate innovators in the European market by increasing the integration of existing networks and initiatives. Its implementation will focus on three main blocks of action:
- research the needs of key innovation stakeholders,
- the design, development and implementation of new programs and cooperation,
- connect & learning, i.e. awareness raising, anchoring and customization.
