During the webinar “From seed to exit: what you need to know before first investment deal” you will learn what to avoid as an investor in an early stage startup. We will talk about the practical aspects of investing in technology startus, with business developer and business angel – Riccardo Falduto. He will share his experiences as a founder and investor.

Riccardo Falduto

An authority on business development. One of his greatest successes was the expansion of an American start-up into Europe. This company was sold for 70 million USD to a multinational corporation, one of the largest in the personal care and healthcare industry. Riccardo holds a degree in International Economics and has extensive experience working for several multinational companies. He also worked in the European Parliament from 2004 to 2006. He is an expert in innovation and his approach focuses on the concept of ‘added value’. Riccardo also holds an ICF Business Coach Level 2 certification to develop a coaching process for the internationalisation of a business idea. He hosted the Woman in Tech Summit on the main stage at the June 2023 edition and has been a keynote speaker at various summits (Deep Tech Summit, Wolves Summit 2023). He is also fluent in five languages, including Polish.

The webinar is another in a series of meetings with experienced business angels. The series has been organised as part of the atTRACTION project, which gives participants access to a community of business angels, investors and potential start-ups. The project offers meetings with experienced practitioners, online training and access to practical tools useful to investors.
