On 7th July starts third edition of the international scientific conference “Cities as social ecological systems. Third World Conference of the Society for Urban Ecology”. It’s the first scientific, hybrid conference in Poznań during COVID-19 pandemic. The event ends on 9th July.
After the successful previous conferences in Berlin (2013) and in Shanghai (2016) it’s time for Poland. We will meet on 7 to 9 July 2021 in Poznań – green and health-oriented city, with one of the highest quality of life indexes in Poland. This year’s edition of the conference is special, because it’s one of the very first in Poland and also first in Poznań scientific, hybrid conference during COVID-19 pandemic. Guests from all over the world, would hear speakers’ speeches not only online but what is the most important – live in Earth Hall at Poznań International Fair.
In conference will take part scientists, scholars, experts and business professionals who would present their research and discuss the ideas, concepts, experiences and different point of view. The conference programme covers a wide range of topics related to urban ecological aspects and social components interdependencies in cities.
The organizers of the conference are: SURE – Society for Urban Ecology and Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Poznan Science and Technology Park is one of the partners of the conference.
