On 20–21 March 2025, representatives of the Poznań Science and Technology Park participated in the second international project meeting as part of the CREDIT4CE initiative!
The event was hosted by Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, and brought together project partners involved in supporting small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises in the decarbonisation process.
The delegation included specialists such as Justyna Adamska, PhD, Julia Kobierska, Emilia Wójcik and Tomasz Zgoła, PhD Eng. The main purpose of the meeting was to summarise the first milestones and plan further cooperation between the teams for the coming months of the project.
During the workshop sessions, Tomasz Zgoła, PhD Eng. presented the results of work on a self-assessment tool for companies – a carbon footprint calculator designed for the SME sector. The tool is now publicly available on the project website and comes in several language versions.
Julia Kobierska presented an action plan related to the preparation of a collection of good practices of companies undertaking decarbonisation measures. This material will be enriched with additional educational and training content supporting climate transformation in the SME sector.

The agenda for the meeting also included:
- presentation of the report on the work on the map of companies’ readiness for decarbonisation,
- commencement of work on a catalogue of local suppliers of solutions supporting the decarbonisation process,
- discussion of the project’s communication activities,
- and preparations for the organisation of workshops aimed at specific target groups.
The meeting was also an opportunity to learn about inspiring examples of green transformation.
The partners visited the Bračak Energy Centre, a modern energy innovation centre located in a revitalised 19th-century castle. The facility has been completely transformed in accordance with the principles of sustainable construction and is now energy self-sufficient. The conference participants also had the opportunity to visit ZICER – Zagreb Innovation Centre – one of the key institutions supporting innovation in the region.

Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this two-day event!
We look forward to seeing the next results of our close cooperation within the CREDIT4CE project and encourage you to follow us for the latest updates.
