On January 27, the Poznań Science and Technology Park hosted Demo Day for the Eco Generator Power Protect startup, supported by PPNT.
After the event was opened by the president of Power Protect, the following speakers also took the floor: prof. Ph.D. Eng. Hieronim Maciejewski., president of PPNT, who welcomed the attendees and presented the Poznań Science and Technology Park to guests from outside the organization.
The startup then presented its business and product—a mobile generator that produces and stores energy in an environmentally friendly way, while reducing fuel consumption by 90%. The system is controlled by a hybrid inverter, which monitors the energy storage level. First, energy is supplied by PV panels, and when there is a shortage, the inverter activates a backup generator, which operates briefly and only until the storage is replenished. As a result, the generator operates minimally, and the entire system provides a reliable and optimized energy source.
At the end of the meeting, participants had the opportunity to see the unit in action, as it was available on the premises of the PPNT.
Power Protect was founded by four partners whose experience and expertise complement each other. Although each of them had previously run their own businesses in different industries, they were brought together by a shared passion for creating modern and innovative technological solutions.
The founders of the project are Piotr Łunkiewicz, Jacek Dubaniewicz, Stanisław Strózik, and Kajetan Łunkiewicz.
