International study visits are an opportunity to establish international contacts and learn how European companies are implementing green solutions in practice.
Two study visits have already taken place, focusing on energy transition, low-emission technologies, and cooperation between science and business.
The first visit took place in Weiz, Austria, where participants had the opportunity to learn about modern energy systems, energy storage solutions, renewable energy sources, and smart energy management. The programme also included a visit to the Siemens Energy facility, which presented advanced technologies used in the energy sector.
The second destination was Faenza, Italy, where participants visited renowned research centres and laboratories developing innovations for the green technology sector. The programme included presentations on energy efficiency, the circular economy, modern materials for the energy sector, as well as practical examples of the use of renewable energy sources and technologies supporting the decarbonisation of the economy.
Upcoming Visits
The next visit will take place on 2 July. Participants will visit Zagreb, Croatia, where the programme will focus on the energy transformation of buildings and hydrogen technologies. The agenda includes visits to research laboratories, presentations of modern solutions in the field of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency, as well as practical applications of hydrogen in transport and energy.
Another international study visit is planned for September, this time to Košice, Slovakia. The main theme will be hydrogen technologies and research and development activities in this area. Participants will visit research laboratories, learn about projects carried out by CVVT, and take part in a presentation of the institution’s activities.
