Representatives of the Poznań Science and Technology Park (PPNT) met with Karolina Zioło-Pużuk, PhD, Secretary of State, at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The discussion focused on PPNT’s experience in developing and implementing innovative technologies, as well as fostering cooperation between science and industry. One of the examples discussed was a technology developed at PPNT and subsequently commercialised and further developed by a spin-off company established within the Park.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss the role of technology parks in bringing innovations to market, particularly how scientific expertise, research infrastructure, experienced teams and organisational support can help translate research results into practical applications.
The meeting was attended by Marcin Śmiglak, PhD, DSc, Eng., Vice-President of the Board of the AMU Foundation, who shared insights into the innovation commercialisation support ecosystem, as well as PPNT researchers directly involved in implementing the technology: Rafał Kukawka, PhD, and Maciej Spychalski.
