W minioną niedzielę odbył się koncert kameralnej orkiestry lekarzy i studentów medycyny „Operacja Muzyka”, w malowniczych okolicznościach Botanical Garden of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań . In addition to PPNT employees and their families, the local community was also invited to participate in the event.
The “Operacja Muzyka” orchestra was founded in 2006 and operates under the Wielkopolska Medical Chamber under the direction of Dobrochna Martenka. The ensemble presented the audience with a diverse repertoire, including both classical compositions and film themes.
The concert program included Carlos Gardel’s “Por una cabeza” from the film “Scent of a Woman” and Alan Silvestri’s suite from the film “Forrest Gump.” At the request of the audience, the orchestra also performed Klaus Badelt’s famous theme from the film “Pirates of the Caribbean” twice.
The concert was officially opened by prof. Hieronim Maciejewski – The President of PPNT, who expressed his gratitude prof. Justyna Wiland-Szymańska oraz Justynie Chrzanowskiej – Dyrekcji Ogrodu Botanicznego UAM – za współorganizację wydarzenia oraz wsparcie w jego realizacji.
During the event, a special entertainment zone was also prepared for the youngest participants, offering glitter tattoos, an obstacle course, and a “Name That Tune” contest.
