On October 28 and 29, the Apollo Theater cinema in Poznań hosted the sixth and final meeting in the series “Kto Pyta Nie Błądzi – nauka dostarczy odpowiedzi” (He who asks does not err – science will provide the answers), which was devoted to military technology and astronomy.
The following speakers took part in the meeting:
Colonel Piotr Wachna, PhD – Deputy Dean for Military Affairs, Faculty of New Technologies and Chemistry, Military University of Technology in Warsaw, as well as former commander of the battalion and the 4th Chemical Regiment in Brodnica.
Prof. UAM Michał Michałowski – astronomer affiliated with the Astronomical Observatory Institute of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, specializing in research on interstellar matter, star formation, and galaxy evolution.
A total of 3,383 participants took part in all events in the series, including both primary school students and adults interested in learning about chemistry, psychology, medicine, and other subjects.
We would like to thank all experts and participants for sharing their knowledge and debunking popular scientific myths.
We invite you to visit the project website, where you can find transcripts of all meetings and listen to a dedicated podcast.
The project was co-financed from the state budget, allocated by the Minister of Science and Higher Education as part of the “Social Responsibility of Science II” program, module: Popularization of science.
