On October 13, 2025, the Wielkopolska Atom Association was inaugurated at the Poznań Science and Technology Park. The association was established to integrate the scientific, business, and local government communities around the development of nuclear energy in Wielkopolska area.
The Association’s objectives focus, among other things, on promoting knowledge about nuclear energy and renewable energy sources, supporting scientific research, education, and building public trust in modern and safe energy technologies.
The WielkoPolski Atom Association is a non-partisan, civic organization. It is a response to the need to ensure stable, low-emission energy sources and strengthen energy security.
During the first meeting, the founding members elected the Association’s Management Board, which consisted of:
prof. Jacek Guliński,
Maciej Sytek,
Jacek Bogusławski.
The supervisory function will be performed by the Audit Committee, composed of:
prof. UAM Dominika Narożna – Member of the Board of the Adam Mickiewicz University Foundation,
Katarzyna Fryza,
Tomasz Nowak.
The establishment of the Wielkopolska Atom Association is another step towards the region’s energy transition and the development of modern technologies in Wielkopolska area.
