On October 16, representatives of the Poznań Science and Technology Park had the opportunity to participate in the Wielkopolska Forum of Smart Specializations, which was held under the slogan “Partnership for innovation: How universities and business can jointly create the future.” The meeting was organized by the Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska Province as part of the project “Wielkopolska Smart Specializations – an ecosystem for climate neutrality.”
During the event, Vice President of the Management Board and Head of the Material Synthesis Team, PhD Marcin Śmiglak, presented PPNT’s offer as part of the panel “What do universities offer entrepreneurs?”, focusing on the issue of barriers that arise during cooperation between the business world and universities.
Dr Rafał Kukawka, an expert from the Material Synthesis Team, spoke during the panel discussion “Presentation of projects financed from European funds and/or own funds,” presenting the results of research on Designable Salicylates—molecules with a biostimulating effect on plant growth and development PPNT—and their commercialization through our spin-off. ATI LLC.
Izabela Stelmaszewska-Patyk, Head of HPK Western Poland, also represented our Park during the event. She presented the Horizon Europe program, which focuses on cooperation between academia and business. She highlighted specific areas and competitions in which both sectors can jointly apply for international, cross-sector projects and develop innovations.
In addition, during the meeting, Dominik Bocheński, Key Account Manager, presented the services of the PPNT Data Center, which provides comprehensive and secure IT solutions supporting modern business.
