PPNT co-organizes the 35th European Crystallographic Meeting 2025

04.09.2025

Over 700 scientists, experts, and practitioners from around the world gathered in Poznań for the 35th European Crystallographic Meeting—one of Europe’s most important scientific events dedicated to crystallography. Over the course of five intense days, the Poznań Congress Center became an international center of science and innovation, and the event turned out to be the largest conference ever organized by the PPNT Conference Organization Office.

Crystallography, as a field studying the structure of matter and its applications in chemistry, biology, medicine, and new technologies, was the starting point for inspiring discussions and exchanges of experiences among participants. The conference program included plenary lectures, poster sessions, sponsor meetings, a meeting of the European Crystallographic Association, and networking events conducive to building international cooperation.

A special highlight of the conference was the Women in Crystallography meeting, which created a space for inspiration, networking, and exchange of experiences between experts from around the world. ECM 2025 participants could also take part in accompanying events, such as a gala dinner, a concert in the University Hall of Adam Mickiewicz University, a special session dedicated to young scientists, and tours of Poznań, allowing them to learn more about the history and culture of the city.

We are proud that PPNT could be part of an event that combines science, new technologies, and global cooperation.
