Now it&#8217;s time for us to get to work \u2013 we will review scientific literature, patents, and existing solutions. This will allow us to plan what we can achieve together, how long it will take, and what the key elements of the work will be. We will also calculate the costs and assess the potential risks.   <\/p>\n<p>During the analysis stage, we will also provide you with detailed information on intellectual property, and our lawyers will begin preparing a&nbsp;detailed confidentiality agreement covering the planned research, its scope, and cooperation. We will sign it immediately before commencing research and development work. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00a070;\"><strong>4) Schedule<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Next, we proceed to create a&nbsp;schedule for our joint project. We will specify specific tasks and define the scope of work. We will submit the developed schedule for approval and highlight key points that may determine further steps. Importantly, we can respond on an ongoing basis and analyze the results, adjusting subsequent steps to the results obtained.   <\/p>\n<p>The duration of an R&amp;D project depends on the complexity of the new solution. It usually takes between 6 and 18 months to refine a&nbsp;solution. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00a070;\"><strong>5) Cost estimate<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s time to estimate the costs \u2013 we will prepare a&nbsp;reliable quote for the project and our joint work. In our projects, the cost estimate will be reasonable and the duration of the work will be reduced to a&nbsp;minimum. <\/p>\n<p>We carry out our R&amp;D projects on commercial terms or with public funding. The former are eligible for R&amp;D tax relief. We invest our time and know-how in your project because we see potential, not profit.  <\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t want to implement your project using your own funds and on a&nbsp;commercial basis? We will be happy to help you obtain public funding and will be your partner in the grant process: innovation vouchers, fast track, or any other competition. We are starting our research work, and you can visit us at any time to monitor the progress. Every month, you will receive a&nbsp;report on the progress of the research, which will include information about any changes in the planned research process. We are partners, so we learn from each other and exchange tips \u2013 this will speed up research and development and help us develop our cooperation.   <\/p>\n<p>At this stage, prototypes are created, which you test in your company and provide us with feedback on what else could be improved.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00a070;\"><strong><strong>7) Result<\/strong><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve got it! This means that you pay for the research from your own funds, so that elements such as project and funding regulations, implementation obligations, equipment purchases, staff salaries, maintenance of specialized infrastructure, and market analyses are not required. You decide for yourself what you spend your money on and you make your own decisions about implementation. You can terminate the project at any time or, if the results are not positive, change its scope or direction. We offer flexibility in choosing the subject matter and scope of work.    <\/p>\n<p>Commercial financing of research and development also comes with tax relief for your company.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00a070;\"><strong>Public funding<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you want to take advantage of public aid, we will analyze the possibilities of applying for financing from external sources. We are very familiar with all the most important competitions organized as part of the activities of PARP, NCN, NCBiR, FNP, and from funds under POiR. We have developed several exit models that guarantee the security of intellectual property. You do&nbsp;not have to decide on a&nbsp;specific and final model at the beginning of our cooperation, but we want you to know what options we offer.  <\/p>\n<p>Before commencing research, we include in the agreement your projected position regarding subsequent intellectual property proceedings. This position allows for the possibility of changing the option in a&nbsp;specific manner. The purchase of PPNT shares may take place at the earliest when a&nbsp;technology suitable for commercial use on an industrial scale has been developed. The options presented below are general descriptions of the available possibilities, while the details will be discussed directly during our meetings.   <\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #00a070;\"><strong>OPTION I<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00a070;\"><strong>You purchase a&nbsp;majority stake in the developed technology.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The sale price will be determined on the basis of an appraisal carried out by an independent appraiser. However, please note that we will deduct any objectively justified investment costs incurred by you from the amount thus determined. In this option, the only element that will bind us later are royalties, the amount of which will be determined individually.  <\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #00a070;\"><strong>OPTION II<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00a070;\"><strong>We remain co-owners of the technology<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you do&nbsp;not choose option I, we will remain in a&nbsp;joint ownership arrangement. Further profits from the technology\/solution\/product will be settled on the basis of an internal license. Of course, before we expect anything from you, we will allow you to recoup the costs incurred in connection with the investment in the implementation of the technology\/solution\/product. In option II, we also set the terms and conditions for granting external licenses and selling the technology.   <\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #00a070;\"><strong>OPTION III<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00a070;\"><strong>Technology comes into our hands<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you are not interested in the technology developed with us or simply do&nbsp;not want to implement it and continue to finance it (incur costs related to patent fees, licenses, etc.), you have the option of handing it over to us.
