During the 32nd International Conference on Multi-Disciplinary Excellence<\/mark><\/strong> at the Pozna\u0144 University of Life Sciences, PPNT scientist Maciej Spychalski<\/mark><\/strong>, working at the spin-off company ATI, presented the results of research carried out as part of the LIDER project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event, organised in cooperation with Anugaram Publishing House, attracted nearly 60 participants and featured almost 50 presentations from various fields of science, becoming a platform for the exchange of experiences between the academic communities of Poland and India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The presentation concerned an innovative method of protecting winter wheat using ionic derivatives of salicylic acid and benzothiadiazole. These substances activate a natural defence mechanism in plants, which enables them to fight pathogens on their own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Field studies have shown that the use of the developed compounds significantly reduces the amount of fungicides used, promotes higher yields and improves grain quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the Pozna\u0144 Science and Technology Park, we are proud to support research that contributes to the development of sustainable agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
