From 16 to 18 September, the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at Adam Mickiewicz University<\/strong><\/a> hosted the 5th Polish Congress of European Studies 2026<\/a><\/strong>. The Pozna\u0144 Science and Technology Park (PPNT) was represented by Dominika Naro\u017cna<\/strong><\/a>, Prof. AMU, PhD, DSc, Member of the Board of the AMU Foundation, Justyna Adamska<\/a><\/strong>, PhD, Deputy Director of PPNT, and Dawid Zieli\u0144ski<\/strong>, PhD.<\/p>\n\n

The Polish Congress of European Studies is a recurring event bringing together researchers from Poland and abroad who specialise in European affairs. European studies have been part of Polish academic research and higher education for at least three decades, with their development closely linked to European integration, Poland’s membership in the European Union, and ongoing political and socio-economic transformations.<\/p>\n\n

PPNT representatives contributed to the panel discussion entitled \u201cGreen Transition Policy in Poland: The Case of Eastern Wielkopolska.\u201d<\/strong> Dominika Naro\u017cna, Prof. AMU, PhD, DSc, moderated the discussion and delivered a presentation entitled \u201cLife After Coal and the Future of the Green Transition in Eastern Wielkopolska.\u201d<\/strong> Justyna Adamska, PhD, presented a paper entitled \u201cInnovation Districts in the Transformation of Post-Coal Regions: From Climate Neutrality to a New Development Trajectory.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Participation in the Congress provided PPNT with an opportunity to contribute to the academic debate on the directions of the green transition and the future of post-coal regions, with particular emphasis on Eastern Wielkopolska.<\/p>\n\n

The event was co-organised by the Centre for European Research and Education<\/strong><\/a> and the Polish Association for European Studies, which brings together more than 500 researchers across 11 regional branches.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
