A series of six monographs entitled \u201cGreen Transformation Policy in Poland\u201d<\/strong> has been published by FNCE Publishing House<\/strong>, under the scientific editorship of Dominika Naro\u017cna<\/strong><\/a>, Prof. AMU, PhD, DSc, Member of the Board of the AMU Foundation. The publications were developed as part of the LIFE AFTER COAL PL project, in which the Pozna\u0144 Science and Technology Park (PPNT) coordinates the activities of the Eastern Greater Poland Policy Lab.<\/p>\n\n

The series builds on research into the just transition of coal-mining and post-coal regions. The authors examine the shift away from coal-based economies from multiple perspectives, addressing energy, economic, social, and institutional challenges.<\/p>\n\n

The publications explore topics such as energy system modelling, the potential for adapting international solutions to the Polish context, the experiences of European coal regions, and changes in the labour market of Eastern Greater Poland. Separate monographs also focus on the Policy Lab methodology as a tool for public policy design and on innovation districts as a potential development pathway for post-coal regions.<\/p>\n\n

The authors also include researchers affiliated with the Pozna\u0144 Science and Technology Park. Justyna Adamska<\/strong><\/a>, PhD, authored the monograph \u201cInnovation Districts in the Transformation of Post-Coal Regions: From Climate Neutrality to a New Development Trajectory\u201d<\/em>, which explores opportunities for repurposing post-industrial sites and infrastructure to support new economic activities, research, and institutional cooperation.<\/p>\n\n

Dawid Zieli\u0144ski<\/strong>, PhD, is a co-author of the monograph \u201cPolicy Lab as a Tool for Public Policy Design in the Energy Transition of Coal Regions: Towards a Unified ETPL Model\u201d<\/em>, which examines the role of Policy Labs in supporting the development and implementation of public policies in regions undergoing energy transition.<\/p>\n\n

The \u201cGreen Transformation Policy in Poland\u201d series strengthens the scientific foundation supporting the work of the Eastern Greater Poland Policy Lab. The analyses and experiences drawn from other regions can help inform recommendations for institutions and local authorities involved in the just transition process.<\/p>\n\n
