He was recognised for his innovative research on biologically active compounds used for plant protection.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">IWIS 2017 took place on 9-11 October 2017. IWIS is an international event related to innovation and inventiveness \u2013 the largest in Poland and one of the biggest in Europe. During the event Polish companies and universities have an opportunity to present their most innovative inventions and recent technologies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Among these inventions were natural plant protection products developed by \u015amiglak\u2019s team. The project entitled <strong>\u201cHelping plants from the inside \u2013 plant resistance inducers, organic salts having natural origin component, as new, safe and efficient plant protection product\u201d<\/strong> was recognised by the international jury and awarded the silver medal at IWIS 2017!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Our congratulations to the entire team (Prof. Henryk Pospieszny, Joanna Feber-Kubis, PhD, Piotr Lewandowski, PhD, Marcin \u015amiglak, PhD, and Rafa\u0142 Kukawka) from Poznan Science and Technology Park and Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6365 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/ppnt.poznan.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Srebrny-medal-IWIS-2017-dla-naukowcow-z-PPNT.png\" alt=\"Srebrny medal IWIS 2017 dla&nbsp;naukowc\u00f3w z&nbsp;PPNT\" width=\"517\" height=\"732\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Marcin \u015amiglak, PhD, a&nbsp;researcher from Poznan Science and Technology Park, was awarded a&nbsp;silver medal during the International Warsaw Invention Show (IWIS).
