\"\"Scale-up Champions held its virtual Demo Day on February 25, which counted with the participation of more than 20 investment-ready disruptive startups working to scale-up their growth and over 40 investors, venture capitalists, business angels, advisors and corporate professionals from all over Europe.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

During the session, we were thrilled to listen to the pitches of 17 ambitious and forward-thinking deep-tech startups<\/strong>. The winner of the pitching contest<\/strong> was Renderro<\/a>, a provider of cloud solutions for digital content creation, which was awarded a guaranteed spot in the Great Pitch Contest<\/a> semi-finals of the Wolves Summit<\/a> 13th edition, happening on 24-26th of March.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

These were the first of 17 innovative \u201cSUPERSTARS\u201d pitching their ground-breaking projects:<\/p>\n

In addition to the pitches hearing, there was also a Networking \/ Business Mixing session<\/strong> where investors seeking new business opportunities met with the participating startups. There were around 30 different meetings and some of the internationally renowned ecosystem funds<\/strong> participating were Inovo Venture Partners<\/a>, Valuetech Seed Fund<\/a>, SpeedUp Venture Capital Group<\/a>, Gold Venture Investments<\/a>, Speedinvest<\/a>, Sunfish Partners<\/a>\u00a0and Adamed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

On top of that, there was a knowledge session<\/strong> hosted by Marcin Jaraczewski<\/a>, partner at Lawmore<\/a>, who focused on the most important legal aspects of venture capitalists\u2019 and business angel\u2019s investments. He also took a closer look at several possible investment models and how they work in the EU: a standard investment process, convertible note and SAFE model.<\/p>\n

After 3-months long Investment Readiness programme\u2019s activities, the participants had an opportunity to engage practically in the most common scenarios for their upcoming funding and investment opportunities.<\/p>\n
