Congress of european innovation and business centres – EBN Congress 2024! How best to support enterprises in sustainable development?<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

EBN CONGRESS 2024 is the largest gathering of European incubators, accelerators, innovation centres and innovation supporters of all kinds.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our representatives, Justyna Adamska and Anna T\u00f3rz<\/span><\/strong>, actively participated in the event. Justyna Adamska moderated the panel discussion ‘The need for sustainable industrial development and sovereignty: the key role of EU|BIC<\/strong>‘. She and the participants discussed how innovative technologies commercialised by start-ups need market support rather than subsidies. The role of business, industry and public sector customers was highlighted as crucial. The value of agility and innovation in achieving green and digital transformation and the EU’s industrial agenda was also discussed. One of the speakers was Paulo Andrez, author of the book ‘Zero Risk Startup’<\/strong>, which is a bestseller in the US.<\/p>\n

Greentech startups also presented at EBN CONGRESS 2024. Bas van Abel, founder of Fairphone<\/strong>, spoke about his difficult and passionate journey to create a pioneering sustainable smartphone company. His story, full of determination, highlights his belief in the power of businesses to set trends towards a more environmentally conscious economic system.<\/p>\n

The event provided a platform to exchange ideas, strategies and best practices in the area of entrepreneurship and innovation.<\/strong> During it, we established contacts with European entities that, like us, support advanced entrepreneurship. Additionally, participating in such events allows us to implement the best solutions in the development of our startups.<\/p>\n
