FIFTH SCALE-UP CHAMPIONS’ INVESTMENT READY DEMO DAY!

Investment Ready Demo Day #5 was a part of the Investment Readiness Programme. This unique, closed, online events caters for investors and startups working in the field of deep-tech. Scale-up Champions fifth edition of its Investment Ready Demo Day took place online from 10:00 a.m. to 16 p.m. (CEST) on 20 April 2022.
Demo Day was dedicated to an international pool of startups and investors looking for collaboration and was filled with different investment – focused sessions and exceptional opportunities to connect, such as:
- A pitching session.
- Panel discussion revolving around cutting-edge deep-technologies and their impact in Europe.
- A set of pre-arranged 1:1 meetings between the startups and investors interested in new opportunities and deal flows.
The Demo Day was an exceptional, invitation-olny occasion for a carefully chosen selection of stakeholders. This edition will count on the participation of 15 investment-ready innovatiove startups seeking to scale up their growth and a wide range of top-notch stakeholders from deep-tech startup ecosystem: mentors, investors, businnes angels, venture capitalists, and corporate experts, all sharing their passion for innovation, enterpreneurship, and deep-tech.
The agenda was structured in three sessions:
- Pitching contest, where 15 startups presented their projects: Beedata, RamaZotiius, TechNovator, SIGMA Industrial Precision, ASSOCIATED APPS, Expansio, Nanosci, Unsinkable Robotics, Emplastrum, The Predictive Company, Ender Turing, Korpi ForRest, Medigoo, TEGNology and CureAssist.
- Panel discussion around community building moderated by Jakob Mikkel Hansen with Adam Formanek, and Inga Uus, Rodrigo Olmedo from uGlobally, Mateusz Jarus from Startup Expansio and Ruslana Dovzhyk from Startup TechNovator.
- A set of pre-arranged 1:1 meetings between the startups and investors interested in new opportunities and deal flows.
The startups participating in the pitching contest did a live presentation of their projects in front of investors and stand a chance to get a spot in the Great Pitch Contest semi-finals of Wolves Summit 2022, happening in May 2022. Moreover, they got valuable insights from the panel of experts and had the opportunity to arrange a one-on-one meeting with investors, boosting their prospects to close a deal.
The investors, venture capitalists and business angels participating in the Demo Day were the first ones to discover our set of pre-selected disruptive startups participating in the Investment-Readiness Programme and they would be able to network with like-minded investors and discuss market trends and investment opportunities with them.
