IASP WORLD CONFERENCE – WE ARE IN SPAIN!

AFTER TWO YEARS OF VIRTUAL EDITIONS, AN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IS HELD ON 27-30 SEPTEMBER „GREEN AND DIGITAL CHANGE POWERED BY INNOVATION. ROLE ROLE OF INNOVATION ECOSYSTEMS”. THE EVENT IS ORGANISED BY INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF SCIENCE PARKS AND AREAS OF INNOVATION (IASP).

IASP is the leading association of innovation ecosystems worldwide. The mission of the conference is to create a global network of innovation districts of science parks and innovations that drive growth.

Climate change is one of the greatest threats facing the world today and innovation ecosystems play a leading role in strengthening global efforts to combat this threat through innovative green and digital technologies.

The Poznań Science and Technology Park is represented by Dr Justyna Adamska, Deputy Director of PPNT, who took part in a discussion panel on sustainable mobility and presented the solutions needed to achieve a greener society.

By participating in the IASP event, we joined the international group of speakers who represent science and technology parks from more than 70 countries. The theme of the 39 th edition is green and digital change driven by innovation.

Alongside PPNT, representatives of Krakow’s Technology Park, Gdansk’s Science and Technology Park and the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park were also present at the conference.

The 2022 IASP Inspirring Solutions Program Final was held at the conference. The project of the Poznań Science and Technology Park, which was realized from the Technopol Adlershof and Malaga Tech Park, won a 2 th place! The Innoinvest project focuses on the modernization of the financial support schemes for small and medium-sized enterprises run by innovation agencies. Members have developed new platforms to support these actors in accessing capital for innovative projects.
