Study visit from Instituto Pedro Nunes recap
2017-04-21At the beginning of April, we had the opportunity to host our partners from Instituto Pedro Nunes, in Coimbra, Portugal (https://www.ipn.pt/). How was this 6-day long visit going?
During the first day Prof. Jacek Guliński- CEO of PPNT, gave short presentation about our Park activities and infrastructure. Then our guests visited PPNT labs and other facilities. The most entertaining part of the program was a visit in the ImagineLab, where guests had an opportunity to have some fun, feel like kids and play with science. The Planetarium was particularly interesting part. Our Portuguese guest was also very enthusiastic about the simulation game “The builder at the edge of the world”, prepared by PPNT team from the Department of Preincubation, during which together we saved the world from extinction with paper, paper, balloons and imagination. Nevertheless, the strategic game prepared by prof. Aleksandra Gaweł from Poznan University of Economics was also interesting point. The participants tried their capabilities of managing their own chocolate factory. It turned out to be much more difficult than it might seem! During the stay, our guests also had the opportunity to visit the Institute of Plant Genetics and Space Plus One. The visit ended with training on the Horizon 2020 program prepared by the PPNT Research Programme Department.
