THE AGCHEM 2022 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN PPNT IS BEHIND US!

On September 26-30, 3 th Conference of advances in Green Chemistry – AgChem 2022 took place in Poznań Science and Technology Park. This year’s edition of the event has entered a new scientific level and enabled the presentation of research results and the establishment of cooperation on the international chemical arena.

Green chemistry is constantly changing and evolving, and the importance of its discovery is becoming crucial in the global discussion on sustainable development. Green chemistry covers many areas.

This year’s edition of the conference organized by PPNT focused on a close relationship between basic research and the exploitation of industrial results. The conference was divided into thematic sessions around areas such as:

– iconic liquids,
– materials,
– catalysis,
– electrochemistry,
– biosciences.

AGChem 2022 has become an area for meeting young researchers from Europe who carry out basic research and implement developed technologies. The event enabled the presentation of its own companies and the finding of startup’s focused on green chemicals.

More than 70 participants attended the event. The main speakers of this edition addressed issues relating to ionic liquids and electrochemical devices, deep-eutectic solvents, ion liquids based on multifunctional materials, biodegradation, nuclear economy and green toxicology in their speeches.

This year’s edition of “advances in Green Chemistry” was under the honorary patronage of the Wielkopolskie Voivodship Marshal, Marek Wozniak and the Mayor of the City of Poznań, Jacek Jaświkowiak. The conference’s media partners are: methods and proteins, nanomaterials, chemicals, laboratoryjnie.pl, Biotechnologia.pl and Chemical Synthesis.
