THERMAL IMAGING CAMERAS IN THE POZNAŃ SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PARK! APOLLOGIC PROJECT

A THERMAL IMAGING CAMERA DESIGNED BY APOLLOGIC WAS INSTALLED IN THE POZNAŃ SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PARK. THE CAMERA WAS PLACED FOR TWO WEEKS AND COUNTED PEOPLE ENTERING BUILDINGS AND MONITORED THEIR BODY TEMPERATURE.

The company is one of the tenants of the Poznań Science and Technology Park and a member of the first Polish Research and Development Cluster of the Internet of Things. Apollogic also belongs to DIH4Future, whose offer is addressed to all companies that operate in the Polish and that want to take part in the digital transformation of their businesses.

The specificity of the company’s operation is consulting in digital transformation using analysis, the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, and specialists focus on creating implementation strategies.

The activities undertaken by Apollogic in the PPNT area are a continuation of the project initiated in August 2021 and the completion of the project is planned for 2023.

The aim of the development research, using thermal imaging cameras, is The creation of a universal IoT device that counts people and monitors body temperature in public transport and buildings. For this purpose, Edge Al technology is used. IoT devices are devices that we use in everyday life in an independent way.

The camera installed in the Poznań Science and Technology Park helped to train the Al algorithm, necessary to conduct analyses.
