Creating the innovation ecosystem – meeting with InBIA and EBN experts

2017-03-28

EBN meetingPSTP is the host of the meeting with Kirstie Chadwick, the President and CEO of the International Business Innovation Association, and Giordano Dichter, Head of EU-BIC Services, European Business Network. The meeting will take place on 20-21 April 2017.

Being the President and CEO of InBIA, Kirstie Chadwick has seen various innovation ecosystems all over the world. “Everyone mentions the Silicon Valley and Boston when asked about leading entrepreneurship and innovation centres. Instead of focusing on the most popular ecosystems, it is a good idea to find one’s own benchmark with similar capacities” – explains Kirstie Chadwick. During the meeting in Poznań the President of InBIA will share her observations and experience. She will also discuss the outcomes of the IMPACT Index project and answer the following questions: how to identify the strengths of innovation ecosystems?; how to measure their effectiveness and impact on the region’s economy?; how to identify entrepreneurship trends in a given area?

Giordano Dichter, an expert in business incubation, will discuss the standards of services offered by business environment institutions. He will also mention how to design the services in a professional way while respecting market needs and requirements.

PSTP has been a member of InBIA for a couple of years. The association brings together more than 2,000 business incubators, accelerators and educational institutions from 60 countries. For more information, please visit the website: https://inbia.org/
