What is the actual progress of the energy transition in the European Union and what role does Poland play in it? Answers to these and many other questions will be provided by experts during the conference RES Days: Transformation for the Future Generations, organized as part of the Life After Coal PL project. The event will take place on October 23-24, 2025. The first day is scheduled to be held at the Marshal’s Office of the Wielkopolska Province, and the second at the Poznań Science and Technology Park.
The following topics will be discussed during the conference:
- the role of Europe and Poland in the energy transition process and the challenges associated with achieving NET ZERO;
- new models for implementing and financing renewable energy projects;
- the role of hydrogen in the decarbonization of industry and transport, as well as technological and economic barriers;
- recycling of renewable energy components;
- the importance of communication and education in the transformation process.
Among the invited speakers are:
- Łukasz Lindner, PhD, Eng. – expert in hydrogen technologies and low-emission energy strategies;
- Agata Mielcarek, PhD, Eng. – specialist in renewable energy sources and green hydrogen;
- Yi-kuang Chen – analyst of energy systems in the context of the European Union;
- Janusz Zyśk – expert on local energy strategies and air quality.
The RES Days 2025 conference will be an opportunity to gain up-to-date knowledge and exchange experiences with practitioners and specialists involved in energy transition. Participation in the event is a chance to become part of the discussion on the future of climate neutrality.
