The Poznań Science and Technology Park is a dynamic organization whose initiatives shape Poznań’s innovation ecosystem. To discuss current activities, a delegation from the Poznań City Hall, led by Magdalena Pietrusik-Adamska, Vice President of the City of Poznań, visited the PPNT.
On Tuesday afternoon, the vice-president and the city representatives accompanying her were officially welcomed at the Park’s head office. The delegation included: Grzegorz Jura, Poznań City Council member; Dorota Potejko, Director of the Department of Health and Social Affairs; Marcin Kostaszuk, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture; and Joanna Jajus, Director of the Department of Economic Activity and Agriculture.
PPNT was officially represented by members of the Board of Directors and the Executive Management: Hieronim Maciejewski, Prof., PhD, DSc, Eng. – President of the Board of the AMU Foundation an Director of the PPNT, Dominika Narożna, Prof. AMU, PhD, DSc, – member of the Board of the AMU Foundation and Justyna Adamska, PhD. – Deputy Director of the PPNT.
The meeting was also attended by experts who presented the Park’s current activities and discussed potential avenues for further cooperation. The discussions focused, among other things, on supporting entrepreneurship and the development of startups, as well as on opportunities for joint initiatives in the area of corporate social responsibility.
The presentation also covered the services and expertise of the PPNT DataCenter team, which specializes in IT services, as well as the activities of the Laboratory of Imagination, which conducts educational classes and campaigns, engaging participants in exploring science and developing the concept of citizen science. The discussion also touched on the creative steps the Park is taking to expand its cultural activities and break away from conventional patterns.
Ongoing dialogue with Poznań’s local authorities helps identify areas for potential collaboration and create opportunities for new projects. For the Poznań Science and Technology Park, this partnership with the local government serves as the foundation for expanding its activities on a broader local scale.
