As the Poznań Science and Technology Park, we support activities aimed at building an environmentally safe, friendly, and innovative living space. Regional activities are particularly close to our hearts, which is why we could not miss the New Year’s Meeting of the Czarnków-Trzcianka County and the Economic Forum of the Lewiatan Association of Employers of Northern Wielkopolska, which took place at the Social Integration Center in Trzcianka. PPNT was represented by Professor at Adam Mickiewicz University, PhD Dominika Narożna, member of the board.
The meeting was an opportunity to summarize the past year in the Czarnków-Trzcianka County. Participants had the opportunity to watch a film presenting the most important events and activities in the region—from modern schools and safe roads to vibrant culture. In keeping with tradition, there were awards and acknowledgments for organizations, companies, and the people who make them what they are. New Year’s greetings, inspiring conversations, and emphasizing the importance of cooperation between business, local government, and the community were also important elements of the event.
During the meeting, the role of people as the foundation for stable development was clearly emphasized. Prof. UAM Dominika Narożna, who also serves as the PPNT’s external relations manager, appeared as a special guest and gave a lecture entitled “Dialogue in business with respect for tradition and modernity.” She emphasized that sustainable development is based on values, needs, and mutual understanding. This is how mature relationships between business, local government, and the social environment are built and responsible regional development is strengthened.
The event was organized by Tadeusz Teterus, Deputy Governor of Czarnków-Trzcianka, and the Economic Forum of the Lewiatan Employers’ Association of Northern Wielkopolska, represented by Vice Presidents Hanna Gołaś and Piotr Wieliński.
The high status of the meeting was emphasized by the presence of many guests, including: Senator of the Republic of Poland Adam Szejnfeld, Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Maria Małgorzata Janyska, Members of the Polish Parliament Krzysztof Czarnecki and Marcin Porzucek, Deputy Governor of Greater Poland Jarosław Maciejewski, Member of the Greater Poland Province Board Jacek Bogusławski, Members of the Czarnków-Trzcianka County Board Izabela Bobińska, Bolesław Chwarścianek and Zbigniew Maćkowiak, Czarnków-Trzcianka County Council members with Chairman Zbigniew Piątek, mayors and commune heads of the Czarnków-Trzcianka County, Jan Polcyn, member of the Main Council of the Lewiatan Confederation, Łukasz Łuka, Director of the Regional Development Department of the Lewiatan Confederation, and members of the Management Board of the Economic Forum.
We are delighted to witness the region’s development and be part of celebrating its successes.
