PPNT at the “READY FOR THE FUTURE” Conference

PPNT at the “READY FOR THE FUTURE” Conference

28.09.2026

On 24 September, the nationwide“Ready for the Future” conference took place at the Wrocław Technology Park, bringing together representatives of Polish SMEs, academia, public administration, business support institutions and technology parks. The Poznań Science and Technology Park (PPNT) was represented by Dominika Narożna, Prof. AMU, PhD, DSc, Member of the Board of the AMU Foundation; Justyna Adamska, PhD, Deputy Director of PPNT; Julia Wojciechowska; and Krzysztof Wiśniewski.

Discussions focused on the resilience of Polish businesses in the face of change, the adoption of new technologies, innovation development, more effective cooperation between academia, business and public administration, and SMEs’ access to technology, knowledge and research infrastructure. Another important topic from PPNT’s perspective was the evolving role of science and technology parks and business support institutions in supporting Polish SMEs.

Justyna Adamska, PhD, participated in a panel discussion with representatives of parks belonging to the Technology Parks Consortium. The discussion addressed the future of cooperation and potential directions for joint initiatives.

Dominika Narożna, Prof. AMU, PhD, DSc, took part in the session entitled “10 Questions About Readiness for the Future”. Alongside other speakers, she addressed questions concerning future development and cooperation, presenting her perspective on the question: “What role can knowledge transfer between academia and business play?”

The conference also provided PPNT with several important insights. The Technology Parks Consortium discussion highlighted that the effectiveness of technology parks should increasingly be assessed based on their impact and the tangible changes they bring about, rather than simply the number of activities undertaken. Participants also emphasised complementarity as a key direction for future development. Meanwhile, the session featuring Dominika Narożna underlined that effective knowledge transfer requires matching a specific business challenge with the appropriate scientific expertise, followed by testing and developing the proposed solution through to its practical application.

We also encourage you to watch interviews with our speakers published by the online edition of “Rzeczpospolita”, a Polish newspaper covering the economy, business, law and current affairs.
