On 16 October, representatives of the Poznań Science and Technology Park (PPNT), together with partners from Germany’s Lausitz Science Park and Interior Technology Park Nowa Sól, continued their work on Innovation as a Service (IaaS), an initiative aimed at supporting innovation and business cooperation in the Brandenburg–Lubuskie cross-border region. This time, the meeting was hosted at PPNT.
During the latest workshop, participants focused on analysing the needs of micro and small enterprises and startups, drawing on insights from previous interviews and meetings. Using the design thinking methodology, they identified key challenges, developed a value proposition, and created the first prototype of the service. PPNT was represented by Kamila Dobek, Elżbieta Książek, and Małgorzata Piotrowicz.
The IaaS project aims to develop a new service that will help businesses in the Polish-German border region create innovative products and services. Artificial intelligence (AI) tools will play an important role in supporting activities such as analysing customer needs, developing new ideas, and facilitating communication between partners from Poland and Germany. Another key objective is to reduce language and cultural barriers that hinder cross-border cooperation.
The concepts developed during the workshop provide a foundation for the further development of IaaS, which aims to improve businesses’ access to knowledge, business partners, and opportunities to implement innovations.
