On July 6, Karolina Fabiś-Szulc, First Deputy Voivode of Greater Poland, visited the Poznań Science and Technology Park. During the meeting, the Park’s activities were presented, priority areas of development were outlined, and research facilities were showcased.
The Deputy Governor was officially welcomed by representatives of the Management Board: Professor Hieronim Maciejewski, DSc, PhD, Eng.Director of PPNT; Marcin Śmiglak, DSc, PhD, Eng. , Vice-President of the Management Board and Professor UAM Dominika Narożna, DSc, PhD , Member of the Management Board. The first part of the visit was devoted to the structure of PPNT and the diverse areas of its activity.
The next part of the programme included a tour of selected Park facilities. Karolina Fabiś-Szulc visited the Poznań Radiocarbon Laboratory 14C, where age determinations are carried out, as well as PPNT’s research laboratories. She also had the opportunity to view the archaeological collections located on the Park’s premises.
The visit also included a meeting with Symbiosis Laboratory, one of the companies operating at PPNT. The company has developed an innovative dermocosmetics line, MilkyWhey, based on acid whey sourced from the local dairy cooperative OSM Rawicz.
The meeting provided an opportunity to present the potential of Poznań Science and Technology Park and to establish relations that may form the basis for future cooperation.
