On January 28, 2026, we welcomed Mr. Jarosław Maciejewski, Deputy Governor of Wielkopolska Province, to PPNT. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss the challenges and needs of the region in the decarbonization process and the possibilities for effectively supporting the region’s green transition.
During the visit, we presented the Park’s activities for green transformation and sustainable development, with particular emphasis on projects implemented in Greater Poland and their effects on the region. The governor also had the opportunity to learn more about our business profile and the potential of PPNT in supporting energy and climate transformation.
We presented the scientific facilities of the institution. The governor visited the Poznań Radiocarbon Laboratory 14C, a unique facility on a European scale. Experts from the High Technology Incubator also presented innovative laboratory infrastructure and discussed selected achievements and directions of research carried out at PPNT.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Management Board and Directors of the Poznań Science and Technology Park:
- prof. PhD inż. Hieronim Maciejewski, PhD, Eng. – President of the Board of the Adam Mickiewicz University Foundation and Director of the PPNT,
- PhD inż. Marcin Śmiglak – Vice President of the Board of the Adam Mickiewicz University Foundation,
- Professor at Adam Mickiewicz University, PhD Dominika Narożna – Member of the Management Board,
- Dr. Justyna Adamska – Deputy Director of PPNT.
We believe that the visit will contribute to closer cooperation for effective decarbonization and green transformation in Greater Poland and will be a good starting point for further joint initiatives.
