Poznań Science and Technology Park welcomed distinguished guests: agricultural producers from Latvia. They came to Poznań together with our partner, Biostyma, and the Latvian company AgroTrend. The meeting was also co-organized by ATI, a spin-off company responsible for the commercialization of projectable salicylates technology developed by our scientists.
During the visit, we presented the story behind the development of projectable salicylates — from the earliest research concepts, through laboratory work and technology development, to the implementation stage, when the solutions began to find practical application in agriculture. Our guests also had the opportunity to learn more about the activities of the entire organization and to see the PPNT research facilities where new technologies are developed.
Under Latvian crop production conditions, projectable salicylates can help agricultural producers address key challenges, especially plant stress caused by spring frosts and other abiotic factors. This practical application context was one of the key topics discussed during the meeting.
We are particularly pleased that the projectable salicylates technology developed by scientists at PPNT is finding recipients not only in Poland, but also abroad.
