Young in Business: Free Workshops for Upper Secondary School Students

Young in Business: Free Workshops for Upper Secondary School Students

29.10.2026

How can you develop your own business, and why is a good team just as important as a great idea? Participants will explore these questions during “Young in Business: Idea. Team. Action.”, a series of free workshops organised by the Poznań Science and Technology Park (PPNT) as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week

From 17 to 19 November 2026, we invite upper secondary school students from Poznań and the surrounding metropolitan area to join us at Plus Jeden, located at 1 Za Bramką Street, Poznań. Over three days, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, participants will take part in sessions focused on entrepreneurship and teamwork.

The following workshops are scheduled for each day:

“From Idea to Business Model: An Introduction to the World of Startups” – participants will learn the fundamentals of building startups, test their ideas in practice, and develop their own business models. They will work with the Business Model Canvas and take part in the Marshmallow Challenge.

“Builders at the Edge of the World: Teamwork Training” – through a simulation game, students will tackle challenges requiring collaboration, communication, negotiation, and decision-making under time pressure.

“I Have an Idea. What’s Next?” – a short introduction to the first steps in entrepreneurship, from developing an idea and earning your first income to running an unregistered business activity and starting your own company. The session will be delivered by representatives of Poznań Biznes Partner.

Rather than focusing solely on lectures, we prioritise hands-on exercises and collaborative problem-solving. Participants will have the opportunity to experience what developing a business involves and discover the challenges faced by teams working towards a common goal.

Participation in the workshops is free of charge.

How to register

Workshop registrations must be submitted by a teacher on behalf of a group of students. The teacher should download the registration form and information notice, complete the documents by indicating the preferred date, workshop topic, and expected number of participants, and send the completed documents by 10 November 2026 to one of the following email addresses:

Tomasz Smolarz– tomasz.smolarz@ppnt.poznan.pl

Karolina Halladin– karolina.halladin@ppnt.poznan.pl

Each group may register for a maximum of two different workshop topics. Places are limited to 30 participants per workshop. Admission will be determined by the order in which registrations are received and whether the forms have been completed correctly.
