Marcin Śmiglak

He has been associated with PPNT since 2012, serving as the head of the Material Synthesis Team. He obtained his PhD in chemistry in 2007 at the University of Alabama in the USA. For over 15 years, he has specialised in ionic liquids and their applications. He is the author of over 70 publications in specialist Polish and foreign journals, as well as 8 patents.

He has received numerous awards in the field of chemistry and industry, including the Polish Product of the Future Award in 2019 for his original idea for the Ilagro plant resistance inducer. He has managed 20 research projects with a total funding amount of 19 million. Since 2018, he has been the president of the PPNT spin-off company, Innosil.
