IC Pen used during the US elections

2016-11-08

ppnt_ic-solutions_szpitalIC Pen is a technology developed and implemented by IC Solutions – a PSTP portfolio company. The technology has been used this year by OSCE observers during the US presidential elections.

IC Solutions has created an idea which will enable each OSCE observer on a mission to automatically save and send their suggestions in a digital form to the OSCE Secretariat in Vienna. It will reduce the time needed to draw up reports and conclusions from OSCE missions. If it was not for IC Pen, it would not be possible to prepare the mission reports prior to publication of the results of the elections.

The offer of IC Solutions was selected in the tender procedure for an IT system supporting OSCE missions. The Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights requested an IT system which would support the process of collecting data by OSCE observers and sending it on-line to the OSCE Secretariat in Vienna.

The IC Pen technology has been widely used in other areas and by other institutions, such as hospitals (e.g. Szpital Kliniczny im. Ks. Anny Mazowieckiej, a clinical hospital located at Karowa Street in Warsaw), authorities (Poznan District Court) or universities (Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan).

As part of the agreement with OSCE, IC Pen is currently used in the US during the presidential elections.

Congratulations on your success!
