ERASMUS FOR YOUNG ENTERPRENEURS UKRAINE

EYE4Ukraine is a part of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) programme and a series of European initiatives that support Ukrainian companies in their recovery from the Russian invasion.

The aim of EYE4Ukraine is to establish business exchanges between Ukrainian entrepreneurs and experienced entrepreneurs doing business in other European countries, thereby strengthening ties between EU and Ukrainian companies.

Main objective is to support the integration of Ukrainian entrepreneurs by promoting direct cooperation with European (EU) entrepreneurs, enabling them to benefit from the programme in the 37 participating European countries.

The project is aimed at Ukrainian citizens residing in EU countries who are aspiring to start their businesses or new entrepreneurs (with less than 3 years of experience in business). It is aimed at Ukrainian entrepreneurs wishing to improve their knowledge of entrepreneurship and the EU internal market.

What does the programme entail?

The programme involves stays with experienced entrepreneurs for 1 to 6 months, also known called in the project as Hosts, during which Ukrainian entrepreneurs can acquire the skills necessary to run a small or medium-sized business. In turn, Hosts gain new insights into their business and the opportunity to work with Ukrainian partners or explore a new market.

Part of the costs of the stay abroad for the New Entrepreneur is covered by the European Commission. New Entrepreneurs cover the remaining costs with their own finances.

The cooperation within EYE4Ukraine project is an exchange, not an internship. The programme offers an opportunity to develop international partnerships that are useful for the development of both parties’ businesses. Partners work together for a period of 1 to 6 months to implement new ideas, develop businesses, and enhance the knowledge and skills of budding entrepreneurs. This opportunity provides exchange visitors with a unique chance to learn, make international contacts, and benefit from the experience of a more senior entrepreneur. The host, in turn, can work with an ambitious, motivated foreign visitor full of fresh ideas who may prove to be a valuable business partner in another part of the world.
