On Septemer 29, during the World Conference of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP), were announced the results of the “Inspiring Solutions 2021” programme. Among the 10 finalists of the programme, there was a Poznan Science and Technology Park with the Scale-up Champions project, which won the 2nd place!
The winners were selected by IASP members from a shortlist of 10 innovative ideas from Brazil, Bulgaria, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, Poland, Sweden, Thailand and the USA. Their solutions address the foundation of what science parks and areas of innovation do foster a climate of entrepreneurship, engage their communities and improve their quality of life, and help companies thrive, grow and reach new markets.
The first prize was awarded to the project “IndX2020” from the Swedish Linköping Science Park. The podium was closed by the “Konza Innovation Ecosystem Initative” project, belonging to the Konza Technopolis based in Kenya.
Scale-up Champions is an international initative coordinated by the Poznan Science and Technology Park. The project is created in cooperation with partner institutions from Denmark, Spain, Lithuania and Estonia and supports deep startups from all over the Europe. It connects them with global corporations, helps in establishing relationships with investors, supports foreign expansion and in scalling its operations.
