Visit of Leading Science and Technology Parks in the PPNT!

Today marks the end of a two-day visit to the PPNT by representatives from leading science and technology parks. We were visited by representatives from the Krakow Technology Park, the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park, and the Wroclaw Technology Park.

On 4 and 5 December, science and technology parks visited Poznań Science and Technology Park. During the first day, guests learned about the Park and participated in workshops in the ‘Let’s get to know each other’ series. They were given a tour of the biological and chemical laboratories. They also visited the C14 Radiocarbon Laboratory, where they were shown the carbon ion dating process.

At the end of the day, they took part in an activity at the Imagination Laboratory. There, they had the chance to use 3D printing pens and learn about our efforts to educate young people.

The second day of the visit centred on a workshop discussion about business support and innovation development. Participants created a contact database to facilitate knowledge exchange between experts.

The visit of the technology parks was part of a consortium of five leading parks in Poland. Inter-park cooperation was established to exchange best practices. In addition, we have planned activities to improve the skills of the staff of the Polish innovation centres. We will also carry out educational projects.
