Young scientists meet in PSTP
2016-03-22The international scientific conference “Advances on Green Technologies” will take place in Poznan Science and Technology Park on April 19th and 20th, 2016. During these two days, renowned experts and young chemical scientists will discuss their latest research on ionic liquids and take part in a workshop on completing grant applications and managing a research project.
The conference is a combined effort of two workgroups, supervised by Marcin Śmiglak (Poland) and Cristina Silva Pereira (Portugal), to bring together those who are interested in ILs.
Plenary lectures will be given by:
- Tom Welton (Imperial College London),
- Piotr Stepnowski (University of Gdańsk),
- Alistair King (University of Helsinki),
- Andrew Hursthouse (Univ. West of Scotland).
Cristina Silva Pereira from University NOVA, Lisbon, an ERC grantee, will conduct the workshop on completing grant applications and managing a research project during the second day of the event.
The meeting will also be an opportunity to present research outcomes of the Short Time Scientific Mission participants.
