ARE YOU CHANGING SOMETHING IN THE CLIMATE? TAKE PART IN THE ECOLOGICAL PERFORMANCE

ON SEPTEMBER 18, BR., AT 16:00 P.M., A FAMILY-FRIENDLY, FREE OUTDOOR ECO-PERFORMANCE “CO(2) ZMIENIACIE W KLIMACIE?” WILL TAKE PLACE IN THE POZNAŃ SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PARK.

THIS IS THE FIRST SUCH INITIATIVE OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE IN THE NEW CIRCUS, DURING WHICH EVERYONE WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE WHETHER AND HOW THE MOTHER OF EARTH CAN BE SAVED.

In the face of the ecological crisis and dramatic social change, PPNT is taking action to encourage active environmental and climate change activities. During the show “Co(2) zmieniacie w klimacie?” you will see the arts of the rat, the juggernauts, the acrobatics, the monopole and the clauper. The visual form of the production, which is based on music and gestures, rather than spoken narration, makes the event accessible to a wide range of audiences, including those who do not speak polish language, i.e. the Ukrainian Community. The show will be an opportunity to meet and familiarize the group with local culture, initiatives and attitudes.

In an effort to raise awareness and popularize ecological attitudes, the Poznań Science and Technology Park decided that the vast majority of costumes and scenery used during the production would be constructed from recycled, recovered, “second hand” items. In view of the educational value of the project, we have worked with the activist Mikołaj Basiński, who runs the channel on YouTube: “Szukam w lesie”. In preparation for the show, he and his actors have engaged in an action that is very important to our planet. You’ll be able to see the results on his channel.

WHY DO WE CARE ABOUT YOUR PRESENCE?

We have been wondering for a very long time what happens if we combine science and art. Based on this idea, we have created a spectacle that is the result of discussions and conceptual work between artists and scientists, and thus we create a new, unique quality. Together with us, you can see the educational and artistic qualities of a combination of these two seemingly hermetic worlds.

The Poznań Science and Technology Park has a mission to support the economy through technology transfer and to combine science with business. The crisis and drastic social changes make it necessary to take long-term action to promote the environment. In view of the educational transfer of the production, we have supported dr Adrian Zając content consultant, who is currently a research specialist in the PPNT materials synthesis group.

An eco-friendly performance entitled “Co(2) zmieniacie w klimacie?” this is a free event, but the previous records are in effect. Each of the participants concerned must complete a registration form.
