On 25 June, Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński Secondary School No. 2 in Konin hosted a ceremony that will long remain in the memory of students and the entire local community.

The school officially received the main prize in the Wielkopolskim Turnieju Wielodyscyplinowym „Dajemy Dobrą Energię” – a photovoltaic installation with a capacity of nearly 40 kWp.
The victory of the high school students from Konin is the result of their creativity, commitment and teamwork. In the tournament, they faced a variety of tasks – from designing eco-friendly board games to participating in debates.

The project was implemented thanks to the ERGO Cares Foundation in cooperation with the Poznań Science and Technology Park and sponsors: SMA Solar Technology AG, LONGi, BayWa r.e., K2 Systems, Krannich and SUNERGO.
As emphasised by dr hab. inż. Marcin Śmiglak, our Vice-President of the Management Board, who was present at the ceremony: “Today is not only a symbolic handover of the photovoltaic installation, but above all a confirmation of how important it is to build awareness, engage young people and work together for the environment, as well as proof that the team competed at a high level.” Thanks to the new photovoltaic installation, Secondary School No. 2 in Konin has gained not only an ecological source of energy, but also a lasting symbol of environmental responsibility.
