The Poznań Science and Technology Park actively supports initiatives that strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship in Poland. That is why, on February 3, 2026, we took part in expert workshops organized by the Ministry of Development and Technology (MRiT) at the Warsaw School of Economics. PPNT was represented by expert Roman Niedzielski.
During the meeting, participants discussed how operational startup development paths function: from incubation and acceleration, through pilot projects and implementation, to scaling. The focus was on the role of program operators, public institutions, local governments, technology parks, and universities, i.e., entities that actually shape the conditions for the development of young technology companies. Particular emphasis was also placed on the importance of infrastructure supporting innovation: campuses, laboratories, fablabs, and project work spaces.
The workshops are part of a broad consultation process aimed at developing a Strategy for the Development of the Startup Ecosystem in Poland until 2035. The Ministry has announced that it will prepare the document by the end of 2026 as a key tool for strengthening the conditions for innovation and the competitiveness and scalability of Polish startups in the coming years.
For PPNT, participation in this process is both an opportunity to contribute the perspective of an institution that supports startups on a daily basis and a chance to draw new conclusions and exchange experiences with partners from all over Poland. We are happy to be able to contribute to activities that will translate into better conditions for the development of technological entrepreneurship in the long term.
This was the first meeting in the series. The next workshops are scheduled for February 6 and 11, 2026.
