Poznań Science and Technology Park was the official partner of the Startup Zone during this year’s edition of IN.SE.CON, the International Congress on Cybersecurity and Breakthrough Technologies, which took place on April 15–16 at the Poznań International Fair. It is one of the key events of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe and, at the same time, the only congress in Poland organized jointly by the Ministry of National Defence and the MTP Group.
The following guests were present at the opening of the event: Professor, DSc, Eng. Hieronim Maciejewski.Director of PPNT and President of the Management Board of the AMU Foundation, as well as
Professor at Adam Mickiewicz University, PhD Dominika Narożna, Member of the Management Board, who also served as moderator of the panel discussion titled “Poland’s Potential in Shaping the Technologies of the Future” on the Main Stage. During the opening ceremony, the organizers welcomed participants and guests, emphasizing the importance of cooperation in the areas of cybersecurity and innovation. Among those who took the floor were Krzysztof Gawkowski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs, as well as Marcin Bosacki, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The event featured numerous debates, presentations, and lively discussions devoted to security, the military, cyberspace, and breakthrough technologies. In addition to attending sessions on the Main Stage, participants also had the opportunity to visit, among others, the Speaker’s Corner, where established technology companies presented their solutions, as well as the Startup Zone, dedicated to young companies entering the market with innovative ideas. Discussions with startup representatives were led by Roman Niedzielski, Head of the Business Scaling and Capital Investment Team at PPNT, who introduced the upcoming presentations and the participants in this part of the program.
PPNT was visible not only on the congress stages, but also at its dedicated booth, where PPNT experts were present throughout the event. It was an opportunity to meet and talk with people interested in the Park’s activities, exchange experiences, and establish new contacts.
