Poznań Science and Technology Park is launching the GREENSTRAT – public instruments for supporting the development and implementation of eco-innovations project, funded under the GOSPOSTRATEG XII programme of the National Centre for Research and Development. The project responds to the growing need for systemic support for eco-innovations and for better use of their potential in climate, economic and innovation policies in Poland.
The main objective of GREENSTRAT is to develop a set of digital, institutional and regulatory tools that will help public administration more effectively identify, evaluate and implement solutions supporting the green transition. One of the key outcomes of the project will be the EKO_Administrative Hub model — a prototype organisational structure designed to support the development and implementation of environmental innovations in public administration.
The project will deliver, among other results, a digital dashboard for assessing eco-innovations, decision-making matrices, public policy recommendations, implementation documents and educational materials for public institutions. The tools and models will be tested in conditions close to real administrative practice, including in cooperation with the Ministry of Climate and Environment and in relation to the GreenEvo programme.
GREENSTRAT is implemented by an interdisciplinary consortium combining expertise in eco-innovation, law, public policy, economics, public administration, communication and artificial intelligence. The project leader is Poznań Science and Technology Park, with Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and the Ministry of Climate and Environment as project partners.
The project is application-oriented and assumes broad scalability of its results. The solutions developed within GREENSTRAT will support public administration at different levels, innovation support institutions and creators of green technologies.
